History of The Northside Church of Christ

The Church of Christ at Northside is located in Lafayette County, Mayo Florida. The Church at Northside is a small congregation in number but strong in the word of God, and has always been that way since it’s establishment.

 We have been blessed over these many years to be led by outstanding ministers, men of God have spoken and continue to speak as the “ Oracles of God “. Our ministers include D.K. Prentice, Rufus Meriwether, Tommy Thornhill Jr., Howard Martin, Bob Scomp, Otis Jordan, Tim Seaton, John Zellner, Stan Caldwell and at present, Chris Jordan. These men, along with our members have led others to be baptized or restored to their first love.

 The tradition at Northside will continue with our next generation of Christians. The tradition being, We are Christians First, Love and encouragement for all that attend, a helping hand to others in need and supporting the spreading of the gospel of Christ to other locations and doing bible things in bible ways.

The Church at Northside is located 1 mile north of Mayo, Florida on Highway 51 north. If you are driving north on highway 51, the building will be on the right
